Does anyone else sit there and struggle with writing introductions to blog posts..? I've sat here for about 20 minutes wondering how to start this post, which is crazy considering I'm only writing about an eyeshadow palette! I blame it on the fact that I've been up since 6:30am this morning, so bare with me.... yes I know it's a Sunday! I'm pretty shattered to say the least, but being the dedicated blogger I am (not!) I really wanted to get this post out today as I'm so freaking excited by this Too Faced Sweet Peach palette....!
Jerrod said in his latest video; "If we had any idea Sweet Peach would have been as huge as it is, we never would have made it limited-edition...I'm so sorry that we didn't anticipate how excited you would be and how much love you would have for the Sweet Peach".
"You are heard and you are seen, so I'm gonna make a promise to you. I'm going to do everything from today on to enable every single one of you out there who wants to purchase the Sweet Peach to be able to do so. Unfortunately it's not as simple as just ordering more. It takes months and months and months to produce something like the Peach palette, but I promise you I'm going to do everything humanly possible to get it to you as soon as possible."
So If I make you drool with envy over this palette, hang on in there - it will be coming back in stock!
The Too Faced Sweet Peach palette is packaged in beautiful pencil box like tin - and we all know how much packaging means to me! Inside are 18 shades in a range of peachy corals, peachy pinks, browns, bronzes plus a purple, green and two black tones thrown in for good measure. Although there are less peach shades than I thought would be included given the name. The green and purple shades seem a bit random to me as they have nothing to do with peaches, but hey, I like trying out new shades and I'm totally happy with the colour selection, which is what drew me to it in the first place.
There is a good combination of matte, satin and shimmer shades but the cutest thing about this palette is that every colour smells of peaches! Not exactly like a real peach, but more like peachy favored sweets and you get a lovely sniff of this every time you apply the eyeshadow. Mmmm..... yum!
Sweet Peach has fantastic pigmentation, all with an easy to apply creamy formula.
As always I have swatched all the shades (above) and these have all been applied with primer underneath. Unfortunately I started to run out of arm space so my swatches got smaller towards the end - 18 shades is definitely my limit on one arm!
I have also showcased two of my recent looks using the peach palette. If you want to see more make sure you follow me on Snapchat (devotedtopink) as I snap lots of my makeup looks on there.
The Too Faced Sweet Peach palette retails for £39 and I think it's worth every penny!
