I don’t buy much Estee Lauder makeup so I was chuffed when I got given their Pure Colour Gloss collection as a Christmas present so I could try them out.
The set contains 6 of their popular lip gloss shades. They are beautifully packaged and just the right size to fit in your handbag when you are on the go.
The six colours from left to right on the swatches above are:
2. Pink Innocence
3. Magnificent Mauve
4. Raspberry Pop
5. Plum Divine
6. Wet Cranberry
Wired Copper, Pink Innocence and Magnificent Mauve all look pretty much the same on your lips, you really can’t tell much difference between them, which is a shame as they look very different in the bottle.
The consistency is quite thick so I wouldn’t recommend layering it, and apart from Wet Cranberry the lip glosses are all very sheer, so I would suggest wearing them over some lipstick rather than on their own.
They retail at about £18.50 each for the full size version – so not cheap, and overall I wasn’t particularly thrilled with them so I won’t be rushing out to buy any of them soon.
