Beaute Mediterranea Snail Cream Review

Beaute Mediterranea Snail Cream Review

Skincare brands are continually trying to find bizarre ingredients to stuff into new products – bee venom, gold and even dragons blood – it seems the more odd the ingredients the bigger the marketing buzz.

I’m always up for trying anything new and I must admit I do get sucked into the hype of new “must have” products. So I was pretty excited when I got to try Beaute Mediterranea Snail Cream*. Yep you heard that correctly. Snail Cream. Fear not – it has no smell or consistency relating to snails, but contains organic snail slime extract which is rich in allantoin, collagen, elastin and other micronutrients. It’s a luxurious thick, white coloured cream – not green as I had anticipated! It has an unusual smell but for the life of me I can’t tell you what it smells like. I just cant’t put my finger on it, but its very pleasant nevertheless and not at all overpowering.

Beaute Mediterranea Snail Cream Review

I’ve used the Beaute Mediterranea Snail Cream day and night for about 3 weeks now and I love it. It’s very hydrating, which I’m in desperate need of, and doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin which is always my concern with new skincare. It absorbs quickly and I wake up with my skin feeling much softer and with a more even tone.

Beaute Mediterranea are a Barcelona based company who have just launched over here in the UK. You can get your hands on the Beaute Mediterranea Snail Cream for £34.00 via Mitonia and I think it’s worth every penny. Beaute Mediterranea offer a variety of other products on the Mitonia website and with other intriguing products such as Snail Concentrate Serum and Dragons Blood Cream I’m itching to give them a go!

What do you think? Would you give Snail Cream a go..?
