Before I say anything else can we please just take a moment to appreciate the cute personalised makeup bag…..! I’m literally a sucker for anything personalised. I particularly like the size of this makeup bag is as I usual find makeup holders are piddly little things, and when you have a makeup collection like I do then you can’t be doing with that! I love it so much that it now sits on pride of place on my new dresser 🙂
Anyway on to the main show……..
This sassy makeup bag and all these goodies* were sent to me by the lovely team at Ideal World TV to celebrate their Beauty Day on Wednesday 14th September (that’s tomorrow!). I’ve spoken about Ideal World a few times on this blog and I must say they are really upping their game when it comes to their beauty promotions. I haven’t had time to trial all of these yet but I have already found some favs that I’ve been using the past few days so I thought I would give you a quick run down….
Skinn Luxe Premier Eyeshadow Collection
The colour selection of this palette is just beautiful. It has a mixture of warm browns, golds, pinks and purples. I love collections that aren’t just nude as it forces me to be more adventurous with my choices. The shadows themselves are soft, richly-pigmented and deliver anti-aging actives, antioxidants, and collagen-boosting peptides to the eyelids, which means that applying these beauties will actually be doing your eyelids some good.
Skinn Bright Eyes Eye Enhancing Treatment
Ever since New York I’ve gone from someone who doesn’t have dark circles under their eyes to someone who does. A week with little sleep clearly does it for me! This stuff has been my savior! The Skinn Bright Eyes Eye Enhancing Treatment is a colour corrector and eye brightener. It uses special incandescent color pigments to disguise any darkness around the eye. It’s very light, blends well and doesn’t crease. I’ve used it every day since I received it and as it’s so light I even use it when I go to the gym. I won’t be doing my makeup without using this now!
Skinn Plasma Fusion 4-in-1 Nourishing Lipstick
This is definitely my most interesting looking lipstick I own! The centre of this lipstick is filled with pure colour lipstick, while the outer layer is infused with Argan Oil and Rosehip Oil to sooth and nourish lips. It glides on effortlessly and leaves a light to medium glossy coverage behind, while at the same time has the benefit of a lip balm. Genius! If you are looking for a light day to day lipstick that nourishes your lips then this is for you.
