For me, if there is one word that represents Marks & Spencer it’s quality. My Mum is a dedicated and loyal M&S shopper which has rubbed off on me over the years. She always insisted that our school uniform, tights and underwear must be bought from Marks & Spencer because they were first class when it came to quality. Although I may not be buying school uniform anymore, I still to this day buy tights and underwear from Marks, not to mention their food. It’s faultless. So when I found out that Marks & Spencer were launching a new face cream I was immediately interested as I knew that anything with the M&S logo on it had to be good.
Last week the Formula Absolute Ultimate Sleep Cream hit the Marks & Spencer shelves. This small purple tub promises to make you look like you’ve had 8 hours of sleep even when you haven’t. As someone who continually seems to burn the candle at both ends and regularly lacks sleep this was music to my ears. It’s commonly known that inadequate sleep can reduce the skin’s ability to retain water causing it to age prematurely and create fine lines and uneven pigmentation. Hence why the skin nerds always say to get enough sleep! The Formula Absolute Ultimate Sleep Cream is clinically proven to transform your skin in 10 ways after just four weeks:
- Skin appears less fatigued
- Deep lines appear reduced
- Reduced age spots
- Firmer skin
- Skin looks healthier
- Improved elasticity
- Skin feels softer and more supple
- Imperfections appear reduced
- Brighter, radiant skin
- Skin feels comfortable and protected throughout the night
Marks & Spencer were serious about creating a product that worked and sent their scientists to South Korea for research and inspirations, as so much of what we see in the western world today usually stems from an idea in Asia. The Formula Absolute Ultimate Sleep Cream contains hyaluronic acid which we know helps the skin retain over a 1000 times its weight in water making it excellent at increasing softness of the skin and reducing wrinkles – on top of sleep, water is another key ingredient to healthier skin. Anti- wrinkle peptides have been included to to deliver firmer, more elastic skin while Niacinamide brightens and reduces age spots.
I’ve only been applying this cream at night for 2 weeks and I can already see a difference in my skin. My skin definitely seems brighter, and although it’s not listed as a benefit my pores seem reduced too. I wake up and my skin feels plumper, refreshed and balanced – not too dry or greasy.
But you don’t need to just take my word for it, Marks & Spencer have done independent clinical trials on 104 women and 71% of them agreed that their skin appeared transformed after just two weeks.
So if like me you struggle to get your 8 hours of sleep a night then this cream could be the next best thing!
The Marks & Spencer Formula Absolute Ultimate Sleep Cream can be purchased online or in-store for £22.
