Hey Guys!
Welcome back to another favourites post!
Despite the awful rain we’ve had recently we have in fact reached the end of July (I know, crazy right!) and I’ve discovered loads of products that I love so this month it’s a bumper edition!
Enjoy……
Garnier Ultimate Blends Coconut Milk & Macadamia Oil 3-in-1 Mask
I’ve got to admit I haven’t used any high street drugstore shampoo or conditioners in donkey’s years! Since switching to professional hair care ranges over 10 years ago I’ve always thought that high street brands could never be as good, but boy was I wrong as I’ve loved using the Garnier Ultimate Blends Coconut Milk & Macadamia hair mask this month.
Firstly it smells divine but best of all it leaves my hair so silky and soft. As soon as I washed it off in the shower I could immediately tell the difference and I couldn’t stop touching my hair.
As it’s a 3-in-1 mask it can be used as a rinse out mask, on wet hair as a way to detangle and smooth hair, and on dry hair to tame frizzy and flyaway strands. Brilliant!
For only £4.49 you can’t go wrong!!
Beauty Blender Summer Fling Kit
If you’ve read my blog for awhile you will know that I’m a mahoosive fan of the beauty blender and I won’t let any other makeup sponge touch my face!
I used a new beauty blender on Friday and my makeup was flawless – I always forget how much of a difference a new beauty blender makes to your skin – A reminder that I must change mine more regularly.
This summer Beauty Blender have launched a Summer Fling kit which includes 3 Beauty Blenders in bright summery colours – the traditional pink, neon green (beauty blender glow) and orange (beauty blender pop). If like me you’re a fan of the beauty blender then this kit is a must as you actually save £8 by buying it as a kit rather than buying them individually. And if you haven’t yet tried the Beauty Blender – what is wrong with you!? 😉 You must rectify this quickly.
The Beauty Blender Summer Fling Kit can be purchased here for £40 with free delivery!
Garnier Botanical Day Cream With Rose Water
As someone with sensitive and dehydrated skin I’m very careful with what I put on my face. When it comes to moisturisers in particular I usually always opt for the high end ranges as they are the one product that can really sting my skin if I get it wrong.
Well can you believe I’ve found a moisturiser that does not irritate my skin and is hydrating all for under the cost of a glass of wine!!
I LOVE this day cream so much that as soon as I ran out of it I immediately when out and bought some more – it’s currently on sale at Sainsbury’s for £3.50!! Total bargain!!
As its’ small in size it will be perfect to take away with me on holiday in 2 weeks time.
The Garnier Botanical Day Cream With Rose Water contains 96% natural origin ingredients, is dermatologically tested and does not contain parabens, silicones or colourants.
I’m so happy to have found a low cost moisturiser that suits my skin after all these years!
GHD Root Lift Spray
With only having 5 strands of hair I face a daily battle of trying to add volume into my mane so I don’t look like I have a rats tail when in fact I really do.
This month I’ve been using the GHD root lift spray. I spray it at the roots of my towel dried hair before I blow dry it and I love the volume it adds. It has an added benefit of containing the GHD heat protection system too to help reduce any damage caused by blow drying too.
L’Oreal Paradise Extatic Mascara and Brow Pomade
These beauties only arrived in the last week of July but I’ve not used another mascara or brow product since as I love them so much so I had to include them!
The Paradise mascara and brow pomade are part of L’Oreal’s new collection which come housed in this stunning rose gold packaging – yes, I’m pretty sure these were made with bloggers in mind! lol
The L’Oreal Paradise Mascara has full dense bristles and coats my lashes well without weighing them down and gives the added volume I need.
I really struggle to find brow products that are pale enough for me so this is why I was so overjoyed at the shade of the L’Oreal Paradise Brow Pomade when it arrived. I’ve been wearing the colour warm blonde and it’s perfect for me! The brow pomade is dryer than the famous ABH dip brow pomade but I find it’s very buildable and still gives definition. I’ve now switched from the ABH powder and pomade I used to use to this, so that tells you something! I love it!
Well done again L’Oreal!!
DHC Deep Cleansing Oil
Yes this is another cleansing oil I love! Seriously if you haven’t jumped on the cleansing oil band wagon you need to!
The DHC Deep Cleansing Oil is the first product I have tried from this Japanese brand – a brand who base their products on Spanish olive oil. Interesting, right.
This cleansing oil contains olive oil and is rich in vitamins and antioxidants. Its fab at dissolving makeup and my skin is left feeling refreshed but not at all oily after every use.
I’m not surprised that a DHC Cleansing Oil sold every 10 second across the world!
If you’re also an oil cleanser lover then add this one to your list.
Philip Kingsley Coconut Breeze Elasticizer
If you read my favourites post last month you will have seen that the Philip Kingsley Elasticizer was featured in it – so make sure you have a read to see why I love it so much.
This month however I have been using the Coconut Breeze edition of the famous Elasticizer and oh my its smells divine!
It has a gorgeous excotic holiday scent which isn’t at all overpowering.
Philip Kingsley haven’t said this is a limited edition product but just in case it is, you best grab this while you can!
You can purchase the Philip Kingsley Coconut Breeze Elasticizer for £33 here.
Pixi Makeup Fixing Mist
A few months back I purchased the Pixi Glow Mist which I loved for its glowing properties but it wasn’t great at fixing makeup – despite this it hasn’t stopped me using it as the glow it gives you is just so amazing.
So, I was intrigued to try the Pixi Makeup Fixing Mist which is specifically meant to prolong the wear of your makeup.
I’ve been using this for a few weeks now and it’s definitely better at setting my makeup and keeping it in place than the Glow Mist. As I like the Glow Mist so much I actually now combine the two so I get the benefits of the glow, and the setting.
The Pixi packaging is beaut and after loving both these products I can’t wait to try some more of their range.
The Pixi Makeup Fixing Mist is £16.00 and can be purchased here.
