Hey girls!
With the large helping of snow we had in February the winter seems to have dragged on a lot this year, but now we are well into March I can sense spring already…. I can hear the birds chirping, the temperate is rising into double digits and it’s no longer dark when I leave work anymore – horrayy!!!
With the spring comes a load of new beauty releases. I’ve been trying out three new spring scents that co-incidentally all happen to be pink themed. Yas!!! My beauty area is looking pretty cute and coordinated if I do say so myself. I love all three of the new perfumes so I wanted to give you a run through of them – But beware, you’re going to want to go shopping after reading this post……
Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Nectar
I was only introduced to the original and very popular Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb fragrance last year and immediately loved it. However, after now using the new Flowerbomber Necter scent I prefer this one. It’s absolutely gorgeous.
Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Nectar contains top notes of fresh bergamot oil and rich sweet blackcurrant syrup, mid notes of white floral nectar of Sambac Jasmine and Orange flower combined with the sweet notes of Osmanthus. And finally, finishing with spicy tonka bean and creamy soft vanilla. All of which give it the floral scents that the original perfume had but with added flower liqueur making it very feminine and sensual.
The packaging of the Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Nectar is in a rounded version of the original, and the perfume itself is a more intense pink colour making it oh so pretty!

Michael Bublé By Invitation Rose Gold
Who remembers that time I was lucky enough to see Michael Bublé in New York for the launch of his original By Invitation perfume almost 2 years now? I won’t ever forget it and it was an experience I will always remember – which you can read more about here.
I fell head over heels in love with his original By Invitation perfume which I never thought you’d hear me say that about a celebrity perfume. I always got the impression celebrity perfumes were for the youngsters – well I was completely wrong and I went through quite a few bottles of the original perfume.
When I heard that Michael Bublé was releasing another By Invitation perfume I was slightly dubious… I mean, could he really outdo his original that I loved so much? Well quite simply…. he has!
The beautiful bottle in my opinion is now even better as it’s a rose gold colour – pink pretty much improves everything right?
By Invitation Rose Gold is a floral feminine fragrance – which like his original oozes glamour and combines a variety of luxurious warm floral tones.
It contains top notes of radiant magnolia, red fruits and granit pear, mid notes of a rose and peony heart, with a hint of black plum. Finishing off with praline and vanilla notes – and just a touch of precious spice.
I can see myself once again getting through this perfume very quickly. Oh and yes, the packaging has been signed by Michael Bublé himself – I’m keeping it forever!! 🙂
You can buy Michael Bublé By Invitation Rose Gold here – PLUS there is currently a special offer on which means you receive a FREE 30ml purse size perfume when you buy the 100ml, or a FREE 10ml rollerball perfume when you buy the 30ml.
Jimmy Choo Blossom Special Edition
Just how beaut is this perfume!?
The new special edition of the very popular Jimmy Choo Blossom perfume has been made with longer lighter evenings in mind that comes with the Spring season. It smells sweet (with the inclusion of exotic fruits) and floral all at the same time but with a sandalwood base.
I’ve never tried a Jimmy Choo scent before so I wasn’t sure what to expect of the Blossom Special Edition but I’ve been really enjoying using it and I love the sophisticated orange and pink bottle.
I think the Jimmy Choo Blossom Special Edition is a perfume that will cater for all perfume lovers and would make a perfect gift.
You can buy Jimmy Choo Blossom Special Edition from Debehnams here. 60ml costs £48 and 40ml costs £36.
