Despite the one week of short lived sunshine the summer is apparently on its way, and if there is one thing we all look forward to in the summer months, other than enjoying not being cold 24/7, it’s that summer glow. Whether you go on holiday or not this summer we all strive for that fresh, lit from within dewy skin that comes with the lighter months.
I’ve been playing around with loads of products these past few months that promise to give you that luminous skin and I think I’ve nailed it! 98% of my Instagram Story followers voted that wanted to know how this was achieved, so below are all the products I used to create this beautiful radiant look.
There are a lot of products here so I’m not suggesting you have to go out and buy all of them – It may be that you already have a fab dewy foundation, but you are still looking for a glowy primer – just pick and choose what works for you – or if you are feeling spendy then buy it all!
Antipodes Halo Skin Brightening Facial Mud Mask
Before you apply any makeup you want to make sure you skin is as radiant as possible beforehand – beacuse you know, every little helps… The Halo Skin Brightening Mud Mask from Antipodes is new to their skincare range and is fantastic at giving your skin that extra glowy boost.
This volcanic clay mud mask draws out oil, impurities and dirt to leave you with skin that is brighter, deeply cleansed and so soft to touch.
You can buy the Antipodes Halo Skin Brightening Facial Mud Mask here.
L’Oreal Infallible Illuminizing Primer
I’ve already blogged about this primer before which you can read here, but you will struggle to find another primer that makes you glow this much. I actually look like a disco ball once I’ve applied this primer so I need foundation on top to make it more wearable.
The L’Oreal Infallible Illuminizing Primer is hydrating and can be used in multiple ways – before foundation, mixed with foundation or on top of foundation for that extra shine.

Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector
I love products that immediately make a massive difference once you apply them and that’s exactly what the Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector does. It hides any dark circles and brightens the whole area. It’s easy to blend and doesn’t sink into any fine lines – hooray!!
You can buy the Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector here.
By Terry Terrybly Densiliss Foundation
Yes! I’m mentioning this foundation again and that’s because its all I use nowadays and its why I listed it as my new favourite foundation.
The By Terry Terrybly Densiliss serum foundation will cover your blemishes while still letting your skin, and more importantly the glowy primer shine through. There is no point in applying a glowy primer if you then cover it up which a thick cakey foundation. You’ll get the best of both worlds with this foundation – coverage and luminosity.

By Terry Glow-Expert Duo Stick – shade 6. Copper Coffee & Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel
I use the By Terry Glow-Expert Duo stick as a cream contour – I apply it around the top of my forehead, side of my face/ nose and just under my cheek bones. I then dab a dry beauty blender into the Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel and blend the lines out. The two together are just perfect and create a beautiful warm contour that looks incredible natural and glowy.

L’oreal La Vie En Glow Highlighter
I can’t rave about this highlighter enough! If there is only one thing you buy from this blog post makes sure its this highlighter – I promise you, you will not be disappointed!! I’ve been raving on about this product on my Instastories for awhile now and a few of you have already bought it from my recommendation and loved it.
Seriously, it’s now my new favorite highlighter and its only £12.99!! It’s so so creamy, highly pigmented and just the brightest highlighter I have ever used.
There are two versions of this highlighter – “Cool Glow” which is better for paler skin and “Warm Glow” which is suited to medium/ dark skin.
You can buy the L’Oreal La Vie En Glow highlighter here. DO IT!!
L’Oreal Glow Mon Amour Drops
Use the L’Oreal Glown Mon Amour drops after you have done your foundation and cream contour – apply it with a dry beauty blender on the highest part of your cheek bones, cupid’s bow and along the top of your nose.
There are two shades available – “Champagne” suited to fair skin and “Bellini” which would be better suited for medium/ dark skin.

Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder
Another product you have heard me talk about plenty of times! The Laura Mercier Translucent setting powder is fantastic at setting your foundation in place, leaving you with flawless skin yet letting the glowy base underneath shine through. It’s the only setting powder I use and I swear by it!

L’Oreal Back To Bronze
The L’Oreal Back To Bronze is matte bronzer which can be used all over to face to add warmth, or for us pale skin gals I also used it as a contour powder which is what I’ve done in these pics.
It blends really well and is only £8.99 so what’s stopping you!?

By Terry Compact-Expert Dual Powder – shade Rosy Gleam
I use the middle section of this blush from By Terry as acts as a blusher and highlighter in one. I blogged about why you need this powder which you can read here, but again I haven’t stopped using this since I got it.
